About us

Last year we welcomed almost 3,000 part-time learners onto courses at the college and in partnership venues, such as Children’s Centres, local Hubs and Schools plus Community Cafes and Sheltered Housing organisations.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to local people and their communities by:

  • Providing high quality, inclusive, lifelong learning and skills
  • Creating a safe and welcoming environment
  • Inspiring, challenging and empowering people to achieve
  • Supporting learners to lead healthy, fulfilling personal and professional lives.

Our diverse curriculum aims to meet the needs of the people of Thurrock and enable them to achieve their life and career ambitions to take advantage of all the opportunities that are available to them. We work collaboratively with communities, employers and agencies responding to changing needs, thus contributing to the social and economic growth of the local area.

I look forward to welcoming you to TACC. Please explore our courses to start your own lifelong learning journey and be inspired by our learner success stories.
