Our Community College Childcare Preschool is open to all children aged 2 to 4 years, providing good quality, 'home from home' childcare that is located in the grounds of Thurrock Adult Community College - you don't have to be a parent/carer on a course at the college to book your child a place.
The Preschool is rated 'Good' by Ofsted with activities carefully planned to provide learning through play around a child's individual interests and abilities to ensure they have fun whilst learning in a safe and stimulating environment including a well-equipped outdoor garden play area. Dedicated, friendly staff speak multiple languages and work in partnership with parents to ensure your child's developmental and social needs are met.

Lunch Club | 12noon to 12.30pm |
Full day | 9am to 3.30pm |
How do I register my child?
Visit the Preschool during term-time and ask to speak to the Childcare Supervisor. Complete a registration form and pay the £15 fee.
What are the fees?
Community Childcare provide funded nursery places, dependent on benefits as well as privately paid places (see fees below).
2 year old funding: 15 hours per week (subject to criteria). To apply go to www.thurrock.gov.uk/childcare
All parents of 3 and 4 year olds can claim 15 hours per week.
Eligible working parents of 3 and 4 year olds can claim up to 30 hours per week.

If you are attending certain courses at Thurrock Adult Community College and on state-related benefits, you may be entitled to receive funding from their limited Discretionary Learner Support Fund for tuition fees and other related costs, including childcare fees and travel.
